Hog Roast Whitleigh’s catering manager Rik went to meet the lovely couple Kiki and Ryan who are getting married April 2023 the other day. Hog Roast Whitleigh’s efficient pre-event communication aids their faultless service on the day. Catering manager Rik was invited to the wedding venue which was a delightful Stately home.
Weather permitting, Kiki and Ryan are hoping to get married on the luscious front lawn where they envision a classy, yet fun set up. The stately home is surrounded by beautiful greenery. One side fields that stretch over the horizon and the other a forest which hosts a super cute couple swing. Their wedding photos are going have a gorgeous back drop!
Meeting the bride and groom to be has helped Rik prepare for the day. Kiki, Ryan and the occupants of the wonderful home showed Rik where was best to set up and all the bits he would need such as power and water sources. As they are having reception drinks, they showed Rik where the handmade bar would be courtesy of the groom and how they would like his team to serve from there as Kiki is going to decorate it to perfection. The canapés will be served in a similar location with Rik’s servers walking around with rustic wooden boards topped with delicious foods as guests enjoy the welcome drinks.
The wedding breakfast is going to be enjoyed in a marquee with an open front therefore Rik and the couple agreed which side would be best for Rik to serve from. Discussing the menu allowed Rik to know the final choices that the couple have selected and allowed Rik to know of any dietary requirements, for example Kiki’s mother is gluten free and Ryan’s sister is vegetarian who doesn’t like Hog Roast Whitleigh’s main option for vegetarians, Halloumi. This is not a problem! Rik agreed to do stuffed Portobello mushrooms and stuffed peppers instead.
It was a helpful insight for Rik, and he looks forward to catering for the lovely Kiki and Ryan on the day and wishes them all the best with the rest of their planning.
