Hog Roast Exeter Serves A Stunning Wedding Feast At Froginwell Vineyard!

Hog Roast ExeterExeter is home to some pretty incredible wedding venues, but few can match the prowess of Froginwell Vineyard – if you know, you know. Situated amidst 20 acres of unspoilt countryside, this little slice of heaven in East Devon is the perfect spot for couples seeking a relaxed, tranquil and truly memorable day. Suffice to say, Sammy and Aaron couldn’t have picked a better spot to tie the knot.

But it wasn’t just the venue they got right – they also nailed it with their choice of caterer. Yes, Hog Roast Exeter was on hand to handle the food, and, let’s just say, no one was disappointed!

With the help of our catering manager, Rik, Sammy and Aaron were able to build their own, entirely bespoke, wedding menu, which fit their needs perfectly. To start with, they requested that we treat 70 of their guests to our legendary antipasti selection. But this was no ordinary grazing table!

Hog Roast Exeter’s detail obsessed team put together a smorgasbord of the finest Italian meats, cheeses, artisanal breads, fresh fruit, hummus and fresh sticks of cucumber, celery and carrot that were perfect for dipping. Jars of preserves, citrus slices and pomegranate seeds added the finishing touches to this beautiful Hog Roast Exeterspread that made it into quite a few camera rolls before the guests even dared to dig in!

The main course wasn’t quite as elegant, but oh boy, was it tasty! After the remaining 30 guests had joined the party, Hog Roast Exeter opened up the buffet. Texan 24 hour beef brisket, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens and fall off the bone Louisiana pork ribs paired with optional sauces and glazes had every meat eater in the room drooling. As for the veggie and vegan gang? Our grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs with flatbreads and tzatziki dip hit the spot perfectly.

Those looking for an extra hit of flavour thoroughly enjoyed our side options. Ranging from ultra cheesy mac and cheese to creamy gourmet coleslaw and roasted baby new potatoes, there was plenty to keep the guests busy.

The bride and groom beamed as they entered the dining hall and laid eyes on the spread for the first time. From the presentation to the flavours and the friendly service, Hog Roast Exeter hit all the right notes.
