Alan works at a publishing company in Torbay that has several branches across the country. Each year, the branches alternate hosting a company-wide networking event in their city, with publishers,
writers, clients, and more, in attendance. The upcoming event in Torbay, is set to be hosted at the function room in a large hotel, with enough space to accommodate over 300 guests. Additionally, Hog Roast Brixham has been hired to cater for the event with a delicious buffet menu. Alan discussed the catering requirements with our manager Rik, who talked through several suitable menus. It was decided that our classic hog roast would be ideal if preceded by a canapes course, which is sure to be perfect for enjoying while the guests are networking.
Rik and the Hog Roast Brixham team will be arriving at the venue in the afternoon to get ready for the 8:00pm serving time. Our menu will begin with a round of canapes served by our waiting staff while the guests are mingling. We will be offering a variety of dishes, including succulent duck breast, an Indian selection, and mini margarita pizzas. Later in the evening, we will be serving our delicious slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on-site earlier in the day. The pork will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be providing homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and a variety of fresh salad dishes. Overall, this menu has plenty of dishes for the guests to choose from, with more than enough to go around.
