Holly started up a book club in Torbay in 2020 and now has a great group of members who attend each week to chat about their chosen book and enjoy an afternoon of great company. This November marks the fourth anniversary of the making of the group and each year the members enjoy a party to celebrate the occasion. This year, the party is being catered by Hog Roast Brixham, with our classic hog roast being chosen as the ideal menu. Our catering manager Rik will be in charge of this event and he is looking forward to making this year’s party extra memorable, with the perfect menu for the occasion!
On the day of the party, Rik and the Hog Roast Brixham team will arrive at the venue in the morning, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection through the morning. Once ready, the succulent pork will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be providing halloumi and vegetable skewers, homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, this menu will create the perfect lunchtime buffet for the guests to enjoy, with more than enough for everyone to enjoy. The Hog Roast Brixham team is looking forward to catering for this event and we are sure that our menu will be a great addition to the afternoon!
