Here in Edginswell, Lego lovers George and Rick took the celebration to a whole new level by organising a Lego workshop for the community, creating an unforgettable experience for families and fans alike.
For a mere £3 entry fee, attendees were treated to a day filled with creativity, competition, and, of course, delicious food. The event kicked off with a showcase of impressive Lego sculptures that left enthusiasts of all ages in awe. From towering structures to intricate designs, the venue became a haven for Lego aficionados eager to witness the endless possibilities that these little bricks offer.
The heart of the event lay in the Lego building competition, where participants showcased their imagination and skill. Prizes awaited the top three creations, encouraging friendly rivalry and camaraderie among the builders. Stalls offering Lego sets, including coveted vintage collections, drew eager crowds, with attendees seizing the opportunity to add unique pieces to their collections.
Expert-led Lego demonstrations proved to be a highlight, providing invaluable tips and tricks for creating show-stopping builds. The buzzing venue echoed with excitement as 400+ guests immersed themselves in the world of Lego, each one leaving with newfound inspiration and knowledge to fuel their future creations.
Amidst the creative fervour, hunger struck, and that’s where our Hog Roast Edginswell caterers stepped in to save the day. Our Classic Hog Roast Menu featured mouth-watering pulled pork cradled on gluten-free baps complemented by sage and onion stuffing and crispy crackling. A true crowd-pleaser, this hog roast left everyone satisfied and energised for more Lego adventures.
To cater to all dietary preferences, Hog Roast Edginswell’s caterers thoughtfully included a vegan option. BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns with crunchy ‘slaw provided a delectable alternative, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their dietary choices, could indulge in the festivities.
