Rik and the team at The Spitting Pig absolutely exceeded every expectation for our wedding. They catered a Texas-themed BBQ, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the entire day. The food was incredible—beautifully cooked, packed with flavour, and served in generous portions. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how amazing everything was, from the perfectly smoked meats to the delicious sides. It captured the authentic Texas BBQ experience we were hoping for and then some. What really set Rik apart was his professionalism, communication, and attention to detail. From the planning stages right through to the day itself, everything was seamless and completely stress-free. The team was friendly, organised, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. If you’re looking for a caterer who delivers exceptional food and outstanding service, we couldn’t recommend Rik and The Spitting Pig more highly. As a bride with a fair few allergens, but loves bbq food, spitting pig did everything you could to accommodate for any dietary restrictions and make everyone comfortable! The prices were extremely reasonable, the bamboo plates were fantastic, the food was incredible and the team was so friendly. I couldn’t recommend enough. Already dreaming of the ribs!!

Where do we begin... They catered for 100 guests for our wedding on Saturday and were absolutely amazing in every way from booking to delivering on the day. They exceeded our expectations with the quality and quantity of food. They were accommodating to dietary requirements, and EVERYONE said it was perfect. The food was absolute perfection. Everything from start to finish was amazing and there was nothing to fault. Couldn't be happier with the service from the team at the Spitting Pig. Rik and Lennon were absolutely brilliant and we liaised ahead of the event to make plans on menu options and location of service at the venue. The weather wasn't on our side on the day but we were able to relocate with no issues. The food, presentation and service was faultless.
