This September, Hog Roast Torbay will have the honour of catering Abi and Liam’s big day, with Catering Manager Rik and the team providing a feast fit for such a special occasion. On the 6th of September 2025, 112 guests will gather to celebrate at a stunning wedding reception, where food and hospitality will play a starring role.
The celebrations will begin in style as our professional team welcome guests with reception drinks and an array of canapés. A carefully chosen selection of five favourites will be served, from pan-seared fillet of beef nestled in mini Yorkshire puddings with horseradish cream, to roasted halloumi and tomato crostini with caramelised onions and salsa. Guests will also enjoy delicacies such as smoked salmon with cracked black pepper, lemon, and dill, served on fresh brown bread, alongside chicken satay skewers with rich peanut sauce and a vibrant assortment of mini Indian delights.
As the main event unfolds, the wedding breakfast will feature a spectacular carvery-style spread. A whole roasted sirloin of English beef, cooked to perfection, will be served with traditional Yorkshire puddings and rich red wine gravy. To ensure inclusivity, our homemade vegetarian and vegan option of grilled vegetable skewers (prepared without halloumi for vegan guests) will also be available, served with wraps and a choice of fresh dips. Guests can look forward 
to freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, market-fresh vegetables, and roasted new potatoes, all served buffet-style onto elegant china crockery with stainless cutlery.
No wedding meal is complete without something sweet, and Abi and Liam have chosen two indulgent desserts to be served to the tables – profiteroles and cheesecake – the perfect way to round off the wedding breakfast.
As the evening celebrations continue, 150 evening guests will be welcomed with a traditional hog roast. Slow-roasted pork with golden crackling, homemade sage and onion stuffing, and apple sauce will be served alongside side salads and freshly made fries, ensuring no one goes hungry as the party carries on late into the night.
