Georgia and her fiancé are in the final planning stages of their wedding that is set to take place this September. The event is going to be a casual occasion, with the pair wanting to save as much money as possible for their backpacking honeymoon that begins later in the year. To save money, the reception is going to take place in the garden of their home in Torbay, with guests able to gather in a beautifully decorated marquee surrounded by lots of homegrown flowers. The menu is going to be provided by Hog Roast Saint Marychurch, as our classic hog roast menu is great value for money and is sure to go down a treat with the 30 guests. Our catering manager Rik was happy to be a part of this special day and he is expecting our menu to be a great addition to this casual reception.
When the day of the event arrives, the Hog Roast Saint Marychurch team will begin preparing our menu in the afternoon, with plenty of time to roast the hog to perfection for the 6:00pm mealtime. The hog will be sallow-roasted in the garden, allowing it to cook evenly and ensure that it is packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once ready, it will be expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onions stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, we will also be serving homemade chips, a selection of fresh salad dishes, and crunchy coleslaw. Overall, this is expected to be a delicious and varied evening buffet, with a great selection of dishes for the guests to enjoy.
