Recently, we had the pleasure of catering for Ruth and Matthew’s daughter, Holly’s christening. With 100 guests in attendance, the couple had opted to host the after-party in the function hall of their church to simplify logistics. However, they were concerned about providing a hearty meal on a tight budget – until they discovered Hog Roast Watcombe.

A juicy hog roast served on gluten-free and wholemeal rolls with crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and applesauce delighted meat-eaters, while our BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns offered a delectable plant-based alternative.
Complemented by side salads and mixed fries, the meal was a hit with guests, leaving everyone satisfied and impressed. Ruth and Matthew couldn’t believe the incredible flavours, and their guests raved about the delicious food long after the christening ended.
