A delicious Hog Roast Meldon hog roast centrepiece is something that you and the guests at your next special occasion will remember for a long time to come, whether you enjoy it as part of a meal with vegetables, potatoes and trimmings or as hog roast rolls (which we call pigs in buns). To make the latter, after slowly but surely roasting away for several hours, we add the moist and tender meat and crispy, salty crackling to floury rolls and wraps and top with our homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing and they’re a taste sensation that can’t be beat.
Even though Hog Roast Meldon is famous for our hog roasts (after all, they’re a part of our name!) we also happily provide plenty of other options too, as we know that customers often want or need something different. If you’re thinking of a spit-roasted meat instead, we can cook up a storm with lamb, turkey, beef or chicken, or something a bit more exotic if preferred, or we can make a tasty barbecue if you like, full of your meaty favourites like sausages, beef burgers, ribs and chicken kebabs. We also have several standalone menus available, like our Loaded Fries, smothered with brisket of beef or pulled pork, a zesty or spicy slaw and lots of melting cheese, or our new Alfresco Menu, which features three courses, including antipasti platters, a hog roast main and then a choice of desserts.
You may be inviting guests who have dietary requirements, like vegans, vegetarians or those with a food allergy or intolerance, and we strive to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy our homemade food and not just the majority. Vegans will gobble up our barbecued pulled jackfruit and slaw, vegetarians will devour our halloumi and vegetable skewers with Tzatziki and many gluten-free guests will be overjoyed to know that they can eat our pigs in buns too – just with suitable bread rolls and wraps instead.
