Hayley and her fiancé are getting married this May with a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony at their village church. This will be followed by a small gathering with their wedding party, followed by a larger evening reception for their extended friends and family to enjoy. To accommodate the layout of their day, Hog Roast Paignton has been hired to provide two separate meals for the event, starting with a formal lunch option and ending with a tasty evening buffet. Our team got to work on creating the perfect catering package for the occasion to ensure that everything runs smoothly for this lovely couple!
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Paignton team began by arriving at the function room and preparing to serve a formal dinner to 25 guests. This menu began with a delicious homemade soup of the day, which was a light and tasty way to introduce our catering. Following this, we served a delicious main course consisting of roasted sirloin steak, baby potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich red wine gravy. Altogether, this created a delicious and luxurious main meal with more than enough to go around. Finally, the guests chose between chocolate torte and summer pudding, with each dish served alongside English cream and fresh berries.
After an afternoon of entertainment, Hog Roast Paignton was back serving a delicious evening buffet for 180 guests to enjoy. This meal included sausage and bacon served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips and a fresh salad option. This was a great contrast from the formal lunch but was still a delicious and filling meal.
