Aaron and his fiancé are getting married later in 2024 and are currently finalising the plans for their big day. The pair have been planning their wedding for almost two years since they got engaged while on a beautiful city break to Paris in 2022. Their reception is taking place at a beautiful converted barn on a working farmyard near their home town, which will have plenty of room to comfortably seat 250 guests for the evening reception. Since the couple will be incredibly busy with so many guests at the reception, they are also hosting an afternoon meal for their wedding party and closest friends. The Hog Roast Marldon team has been hired to cater for both occasions and we are sure that our menus will be a great addition to the afternoon and evening events.
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Marldon team will arrive at the wonderful venue in the morning to prepare the lunchtime menu for 25 guests. This will include a delicious slow-roasted hog accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, roasted potatoes, and seasonal salad dishes. Additionally, we will be serving an elegant dessert course with several options for the guests to choose from. This meal will be served tableside to the guests to create an elegant and intimate atmosphere for the meal. After an afternoon of entertainment, we will be serving another meal, this time to the 250 evening guests. This menu will be much simpler, yet still incredibly delicious, and will include sausage and bacon rolls, homemade chips, and a variety of salad dishes.
