Hog Roast Galmpton were exceedingly excited to be hired to cater their latest event. The clients were a happy couple who were celebrating 40 love filled years together.
The clients had booked a glorious hotel garden venue for their party. They had invited 28 of their closest friends and family to celebrate with them. Hog Roast Galmpton felt especially privileged to be invited to make a hearty meal for the clients and their guests.
The menu the clients selected would be created by the experienced Hog Roast Galmpton Chef and the canapés, starters and puddings would be served to the tables, with the main course being a buffet. As the guests arrived at 12pm the wait staff mingled with trays of canapés which included mini bites of: feta skewers, mini fillets of beef, Peking duck wraps and pate encroute. All the dishes had been made on site in the hours leading up to the event by the Chef and assistant.
Once the guests were all seated the friendly wait staff served the starter to the tables. The starter was a delicious bowl of homemade soup and a crusty bread roll, all served on Hog Roast Galmpton’s own china crockery, which is part of the catering package the clients paid for.
The main course was served as a buffet. The guests could pick between a slow roasted pig with crispy crackling, stuffing and apple sauce and succulent Sirloin of Roast Beef with Yorkshire puddings, Horseradish sauce and homemade red wine gravy. Accompanying these two delicious meat options was a new potato salad and perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables.
The clients opted to provide the pudding themselves, but paid for the Hog Roast Galmpton wait staff to serve it to their guests. While the guests tucked into their puddings the Chef and assistant discreetly tidied away all their equipment and rubbish to take it away from site.
The clients and their guests had a wonderful party. They loved the food and later sent a thank you card to the team, thanking them for making the day so special!
