Hog Roast Marldon’s latest event was a very special celebration. Client Andrew was having a party to celebrate a very special birthday. The Hog Roast Marldon team were very excited to be part of the event that was all about marking Andrew’s 40th birthday.
There was a guest list of 50 people at this fun party and the buffet menu was a Hog Roast Classic, it was filling, fun and tasty for all dietary requirements and tastes. The buffet that was all made by Catering Manager Rik was served at 1:30pm on the dot at the private home venue. The dishes were all made fresh on the day of the party.
Catering Manager Rik from Hog Roast Marldon arrived at client Andrew’s house (where the party was to be held) several hours prior to the buffet serving time. This ensured that he had enough time to set up the catering gazebo and cooking equipment, and then plenty of time to prepare and cook all the delicious dishes. Everything was made with love and was tasty and fresh for the guests to enjoy.
The main attraction at the buffet table was a Classic Hog Roast. This was a delicious, slow roasted pig that was sizzled to perfection under Rik’s experienced gaze. The cooked pig had a crunchy, crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and an optional tangy apple sauce. Also on offer as part of the buffet were grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, as well as a vegan option of plain vegetable skewers which had been grilled to perfection. Finally, there was a basket of soft, tasty, gluten free rolls for all the guests to enjoy.
As the guests made their way along the buffet table they loaded plenty of food on to the high quality disposable crockery and cutlery that the Hog Roast Marldon team provided. As well as providing the crockery and cutlery as part of the catering package client Andrew had plumped for, Rik also tidied away after the food had been enjoyed. All the rubbish generated from the catering of the event was taken off site and disposed of responsibly.
The birthday boy and his guests all had a wonderful time, and the buffet was thoroughly enjoyed. It was an event very well done.
