Earlier this year, Hog Roast Torquay was hired to cater for Jess and Paul’s wedding, set to take place this September at North Devon Yacht Club. This is a lovely venue for a wedding, with wonderful views of the water and a beautiful function room. For the catering, we were hired to serve our alfresco menu to 95 guests, which was sure to go down a treat! This menu includes two delicious courses, both packed full of tasty dishes, making it perfect for any wedding!
The alfresco menu begins with mouthwatering antipasti boards, which always take the spotlight. The boards are piled with the finest cheeses, Italian meats, and fresh fruit, and are served with soft bread, crisp breadsticks, and luxury olive oil. The sharing platters are the perfect way to begin the menu, allowing the guests to enjoy as much as they choose, while also getting to enjoy a variety of incredible tastes and textures. Following this, we served our classic hog roast main course, which was cooked to perfection on-site. The succulent pork was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provided a variety of sides, including gourmet coleslaw, a fresh salad dish, and homemade chips. This course went down a treat, with the guests lining up at our buffet station to enjoy our menu.
