Hog Roast Shorton are party, event and wedding caterers who put our customers and their guests first by providing mouthwatering food and great service with a smile. We offer a great wealth of choice and variety, as we fully understand the need for alternative dishes and additional options, so whatever you’re thinking of us serving, we’ve got you covered each and every time.
We cook a mean hog roast, our signature dish, but even with our replacement meat possibilities, like spit-roast poultry, beef or lamb, barbecued burgers and sausages or a Hog Roast Shorton speciality menu like our Southern Slow Roast or Loaded Fries, the carnivores attending your next special occasion are in for a treat. Nevertheless, so are any guests on special diets, like vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, and we can cater for other diets too if needed, as long as we have notice so we can arrange something tasty and suitable.
If you’re thinking of having numerous dishes prepared and cooked fresh on the day by our experts, you can choose from a multitude of starters, sides, desserts and even handmade canapés. We have something for everyone and options for all budgets, wants and needs, so when you book with us, we’ll certainly do you proud and your guests will no doubt be talking about our food for a long time to come.
When Hog Roast Shorton catered a private function for employees at a factory on Thursday, outside in the grounds, we worked hard to create a feast that would satisfy everyone’s hunger. From a sumptuous centrepiece hog roast that sizzled away for several hours, we made heaps of our amazing pigs in buns (otherwise known as hog roast rolls), by adding hot, tender meat and salty, crispy crackling to fresh buns and wraps, topped with our homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, and then handed over to guests, who could choose to add their choice of condiments.
Additionally, we made veggie skewers for the vegetarian guests, full of delicious halloumi and a rainbow of vegetables, and served with a Tzatziki dip and pitta bread. By the end of service, we’d put smiles on many faces and filled many tummies with gorgeous food.
