Hog Roast Truro Was in Full-On Wedding Mode for Natalie and Jason’s Big Day!

Hog Roast TruroWhen it comes to planning a wedding, you may be completely at a loss about where to start. Believe us, it’s more common than you think. Of course, choosing the venue and the date comes first, but what about if they don’t offer in-house catering? That’s where Hog Roast Truro is your first port of call. Jason and Natalie got in touch after booking their wedding date. The couple had a small wedding, with just 51 guests. It was held at The Barn at Pengelly in Truro. Who needs to get married abroad when the hot weather arrives in beautiful Cornwall?
Catering manager of Hog Roast Truro, Paul, worked with the couple for months to create their dream menu, which consisted of our popular roasted pork and a side of crispy crackling, of course. They also asked for a selection of sides. This included tomato and mozzarella salad, coleslaw and freshly made chips and fries. So, it’s fair to say that no one got peckish. As for vegetarians? We served grilled halloumi and vegetable skewers (without halloumi for vegans), served with wraps and chilli sauce. Plus, they also made sure the kids had a meal that they wouldn’t turn their noses up at. So, we suggested chicken nuggets and chips, so that both parents and their little ones were happy.
Hog Roast TruroWhen the evening rolled around, we served our next meal – an antipasti grazing table for 100 guests. This is a great idea if you’re planning on evening guests, so they had something to tuck into once they arrived. Plus, day guests could also nibble if they got peckish after the wedding breakfast.
Our wedding packages are flexible to suit the couple. So, if you’d like to change any elements that we offer on our menus, then please let the Hog Roast Truro team know. We’re happy to adapt wherever we can so that you and your spouse-to-be are satisfied. Want to find out more about wedding packages? Just give us a call or send an email today.
