Hog Roast Totnes Stayed Local For A Exciting Wedding Celebration!

Hog Roast Totnes stayed local last weekend for Emily and Ryan’s wedding, which was held at Devon’s iconic Woodlands Leisure Park! Nestled in the heart of 100 acres of beautiful forest and boasting a large variety of entertainment options, this lively venue made absolutely certain that the couple’s incredibly special day will never be forgotten.

Hog Roast Totnes Like the majority of brides and grooms, the pair had spent months preparing for their wedding day, and when it finally arrived, they were so pleased that everything ran smoothly – especially the catering service, which our team absolutely smashed! Making sure everyone’s catering needs were met, Hog Roast Totnes, led by our catering manager, Rik, rustled up a bespoke spread, which began with a selection of flavour-packed canapĂ© options. These included: halloumi and tomato crostini, duck wraps, vegetarian-friendly mini quiches and honey and mustard sausages.

The tantalising pre-dinner treats went down a storm and proved to be the perfect prelude to the sit-down starters, which offered the guests a choice between winter vegetable soup or duck liver parfait, followed by a wholesome turkey feast with seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and a potato dish. After devouring the main course, the guests were then served their choice of homemade chocolate torte or traditional Christmas pudding with cream. But the day wasn’t over for Hog Roast Totnes quite yet…

With plenty of entertainment options around to keep the wedding party busy, there was never a dull moment to be had at Ryan and Emily’s wedding! But all that excitement and running around had the guest’s tummies rumbling again a few hours later. And so, to satiate their resurfacing appetite, the catering crew fired up the HogMaster for a second time that day and proceeded to cook up our Classic Hog Roast Menu, which provides mouth-watering slow-roasted pork rolls with crackling, stuffing and applesauce, as well as grilled-veggie skewers for the plant-based guests.

Ryan, Emily and their entire wedding party were so impressed with the mind-blowing food that Hog Roast Totnes presented that they couldn’t stop talking about how good everything tasted. We’re just glad they all had a great time!
