Hog Roast Torquay – Bringing Style and Comfort in Dining for a Torquay Wedding!

Hog Roast TorquayThe name of the game for Esme and Graham’s wedding last week was style and comfort. Fortunately for them, they came to the exact right caterer in Hog Roast Torquay to be able to get just that. Catering manager Rik and the Hog Roast Torquay team specialise in exactly that. Our hog roast, as stylish, as extravagant as it is as a dish and cooking style, also possesses that homely comfort that any good British roast has. In one perfect meaty package you’ve got a stylish cooking style that is as comforting as a Sunday roast by the fire.

So of course that is exactly what we served up at Esme and Graham’s wedding. The couple had spoken to Rik and the Hog Roast Torquay team some time back about catering for their wedding. They wanted both a traditional lunch/dinner for after the ceremony as well as a late evening feast for the late night guests. It is increasingly popular to do this these days, and usually the aim of such a buffet is for something really comforting just to give everyone something to really enjoy before they head home.

So, then, our day began with our hog roast. Rik fired up the roaster while guests made their way to the venue and the ceremony commenced. Once Graham and Esme were officially married and all of the photos and mingling had been conducted, we announced our buffet table as open for guests to then come and get served at their own leisure. That’s the comfort part of our stylish service, as the guests came in their droves to pick up their perfectly roasted pork, golden crackling, sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce, seasonal leaves, tomato and mozzarella salad, gourmet slaw, and roasted new potatoes. For a dessert, it was a further stylish and comforting option: cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding!

The evening dinner was where the comfort dining really came out. After hours of dancing and celebration, what better a sight to see than the arrival of Hog Roast Torquay’s mac and cheese station! With crispy bacon, crispy onions, chives, cheese, jalapenos, it’s the stylish way to comfort eat! Any leftovers from our main meal were also provided, allowing the party to really end on one final perfect comforting note for Esme and Graham!
