In June, Hog Roast Dawlish was hired to cater for a corporate party celebrating 50 years of trading for CEGA Group Service. The event took place at the corporate venue in Chichester, with Hog Roast Dawlish on hand to provide a classic hog roast for the 250 guests to enjoy. Our catering manager Rik was hired to serve a delicious buffet with a selection of meat-free dishes on offer to ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
On the day of the event, Rik and the Hog Roast Dawlish team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 15:00 serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog and preparing BBQ-pulled jackfruit and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We also served a selection of seasonal vegetables, homemade chips, and sweet potato fries. Of the 250 guests in attendance, we provided 140 with second helpings of our delicious catering. All leftovers were donated to a local homeless shelter to ensure that nothing was wasted and everything was enjoyed! Our catering was a great addition to the event and was a perfect addition to the anniversary celebrations taking place. It was great to be part of this event and to see our menu being enjoyed by so many people!
