We’re sending big birthday wishes to Nikki’s mum, who turned 80 back in June. She booked Hog Roast Dartmouth to cater for the occasion. It was a real honour to cater for this lovely lady’s milestone celebration. We always bring the same care and attention to detail to every event we’re hired for. That’s why we’re the UK’s leading hog roaster, of course. From classic BBQs to our signature hog roast, we can do it all. And for the kids? We’ve got options they’ll love, including burgers and chicken nuggets.
Nikki got in touch with us to cater for her mum’s big birthday, held at a farm in Dartmouth, Devon. Hog Roast Dartmouth’s catering manager, Rik, worked alongside Nikki to ensure her needs were met when it came to her menu. She opted for our signature hog roast (a great choice in our opinion), which is our most popular dish that we offer. It’s what we’re best known for, after all, and we have built a long-standing reputation for serving the best hog roasts in the country. All of our customers ask for a decent helping of crackling too, so we put out an extra tray for guests can help themselves. For sides, Nikki chose our mixed salad and gourmet coleslaw. Rik also noted down whether there were any vegans and vegetarians in attendance, and there were several who opted for a meat-free meal. Therefore, we made sure there were plenty of grilled halloumi skewers to go around.As an alternative to pulled pork, we also served pulled jackfruit (which looks and tastes the same as the real stuff). After serving at 4 pm, we packed away and cleaned up well into the evening, so there was nothing for Nikki to worry about once the guests left.
