All of these events would benefit from a delicious catering menu, and Hog Roast Brixham has plenty of options that are sure to go down a treat!This September, Rik and the Hog Roast Brixham team catered for a great event in Torbay for Muddy Boots Childcare. The event took place at a lovely venue with a marquee for enjoying the catering and an outdoor play area for younger guests to enjoy. For the menu, we were hired to serve our delicious slow-roast menu for 150 guests to enjoy, complete with all of the traditional trimmings. This is the perfect menu for the occasion and was sure to warm up the guests on the breezy September afternoon.
The star of this menu was the succulent pork which was slow-cooked to perfection on-site, on the day of the event. Once ready, the pork was carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we served halloumi and vegetable skewers, which were a delicious veggie option. Additionally, we served heaps of our gourmet coleslaw, as well as bowls of fresh salad. This created a varied and tasty meal, with more than enough for the guests to enjoy!
The food was a big hit and went down a treat with the guests! The Hog Roast Brixham team wants to thank Muddy Boots Childcare for letting us be part of such a special event. It was great to see our catering being enjoyed by so many.
