For Gemma and Ryan, getting their foot on the property ladder had been a lifelong goal, which they had spent years working to achieve. So, when the good news recently broke that the couple’s offer on their dream property had been accepted, their next priority was finding a way to celebrate!
With a spacious new garden to show off, which they had decked out with some snazzy furniture, the pair had decided to host a cosy get-together with both sets of parents, taking the total attendance to 6, a.k.a. the current lockdown limit. Next up, they set about finding a caterer, and as luck would have it, they soon discovered Hog Roast Bideford.
After listening to the couple’s ideas, our catering manager recommended a few different menu options, which he felt would work perfectly for the informal gathering. Gemma and Ryan couldn’t agree more, and after taking a day to discuss among themselves, they called back to finalise their decision for our Gourmet BBQ feast.
On Saturday, the day of the party, the Hog Roast Bideford team spent their morning at HQ, slaving over the barbecue, which had been packed with 100% beef, handmade burgers, juicy links sausages, succulent chicken kebabs and meaty spare ribs that had been pre-marinated in a concoction of BBQ spices. With the meat spitting on the grill, the catering team turned their attention to the sides options of Greek salad, crunchy coleslaw and mixed fries.
The sweet smell of hickory smoke had soon enveloped the air, signalling the feast was ready to be packaged and delivered to the client. Taking care, Hog Roast Bideford carefully transferred the mouth-watering flavours into cardboard boxes before setting off in the catering unit towards Gemma and Ryan’s new property.
As usual, Hog Roast Bideford arrived perfectly on time, and our team received a warm greeting from the small group who couldn’t wait to get stuck into the BBQ flavours, which had already started billowing their drool-inducing fragrance into the air.
After wishing them a good time, our team left the group to enjoy the food, which they have since told us was the most delicious BBQ they had ever had!
