Her name is Polly! Hog Roast Barton brings the buffet to a Christening.

Hog Roast Barton’s latest event was a special Gourmet Delivery. Clients Alex and Andy wanted a nice buffet delivered for them and their 7 guests at their daughters christening.

The two clients worked closely with the Hog Roast Barton team to come up with a suitable buffet for their event and sort out the delivery time. The catering package that the clients paid for included not only the food, but also crockery and cutlery for the guests to use. These disposable items would then be collected at the end of the event by Chef Rik who had put the whole buffet together by hand.

Hog Roast BartonChef Rik got to work at the Hog Roast Barton kitchen long before the 1pm delivery time. He made sure that he had enough time to put together a buffet that was fit for royalty.

The dishes for the buffet had a great deal of variety, but fortunately Chef Rik is very experienced and managed to create and deliver the buffet that the Clients had worked with the team to dream up.

As per the Clients instructions, Chef Rik made sure that there was lots of BBQ 100% beef burgers, Chefs gourmet sausage and rolls on offer. As well as these meaty treats there was a delicious Mediterranean salad, fresh crunchy coleslaw and a Classic Cesar salad. Finishing off the buffet was loaded potato wedges and an assortment of sauces.

Once the dishes were prepared they were put into large foil transport trays, this ensured that during the journey to the private venue for the christening celebration the food would stay hot and fresh. As soon as Chef Rik delivered the trays to Clients Alex and Andy the food was ready to be enjoyed and could be served straight from the foil trays.

Later, after the food had been enjoyed Chef Rik collected the rubbish from the buffet and went on to dispose of it all safely. The Clients and their guests had been extremely pleased with the buffet, it had gone down a treat as they celebrated baby Polly’s christening. It had been a job very well done and everyone was left full and energised to continue the celebration.
