Michelle and Peter have been together for seven years and got engaged last year while enjoying their dream holiday doing a road trip around America. The wedding is taking place this December, followed by a reception at a beautiful golf club in Torbay, with 80 close friends and family in attendance. For the entertainment, there will be live music from a local band and a variety of party games and activities to keep younger guests occupied. For the menu, Hog Roast Brixham has been hired to cater for the occasion, with our catering manager Rik serving our classic slow-roasted hog menu. This is a delicious choice and is exactly what the couple wanted to enjoy on their big day!
In preparation for the reception, the Hog Roast Brixham team is planning on arriving at the venue in the morning, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the 5:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog, which requires around five hours to cook to perfection. In the meantime, we will be preparing the other main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, and marinated chicken kebabs. Once it is time to serve, the guests can enjoy our main dishes in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We will also be serving a selection of main dishes, including homemade chips, creamy mac and cheese, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, this is sure to create the perfect wedding menu, with more than enough for every guest to enjoy!
