Ini’s family stayed at a beautiful holiday home in Devon in October as part of a much-needed family holiday. The family enjoyed a week of relaxation and holiday activities, topped off with a delicious meal served by Hog Roast North Tawton! For the catering, Ini contacted our catering manager Rik to find out which menu would be ideal for the 15 guests. After looking through our menus, it was decided that a southern slow roast would be ideal for the occasion as it includes so many delicious main dishes and a tasty array of sides.
The meal was set to be served at 6:30pm, so the Hog Roast North Tawton team arrived with plenty of time in advance to prepare the meal. For the main dishes, we prepared fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, a delicious beef brisket, a pulled quarter of minted lamb, and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. The mains were served with Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, seasonal green leaf salad, and homemade French fries. We served our menu to the guests on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery, which was the ideal level of formality for the occasion. Everyone had a lot of fun eating what we had prepared, and it was an excellent way to end a great holiday! There was more than enough for every guest to enjoy and plenty to allow everyone to enjoy a delicious evening meal.
