Hog Roast Daccombe Served A Terrific Meal At A 30th Birthday Party!

It was Bradley’s 30th birthday last Wednesday, and to observe the occasion, his friends and family all got together on Saturday for an epic birthday bash, which Hog Roast Daccombe had the pleasure of catering at!

The chosen venue for the event was a clifftop hotel with views overlooking Torbay’s stunning coastline, which provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration, and with the weather staying relatively mild all afternoon, with only a few scattered showers here and there, the guests were able to take in the splendid scenes while enjoying the fresh air and great-tasting food that Hog Roast Daccombe had prepared.

Hog Roast Daccombe On the menu for Bradley’s birthday party was our ever-popular Hog Roast Dining buffet, which offered guests the choice of either our trademark slow-roasted pig with crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce or roasted sirloin of English beef served with Yorkshire puddings and a homemade rich red wine gravy. We also prepared BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls with vegan coleslaw as a plant-based option for veggie and vegan guests, as well as side salads, garlic and rosemary-seasoned roasted potatoes and a medley of glazed market vegetables for everyone to dig into.

The food was a big hit with everyone who attended, and Bradley was especially pleased with the value for money that he received from Hog Roast Daccombe. Once everyone’s plates were cleared, our caterers tidied away the leftovers and presented each of the guests with a slice of birthday cake dressed in ripe forest fruits and fresh cream and a glass of champagne, which was the ideal way to wash down the main course.

As the party carried on into the late evening, Hog Roast Daccombe brought out the leftovers from the main meal and served them on platters alongside fresh-cut roast chicken, cheese and pickled onion, tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches as well as bowls of nuts and crackers for the guests to pick away at. We also prepared a buffet of tea, coffee and hot chocolate for the guests to help themselves to, which went down a treat and brought the event to a perfect end.
