The Carnival Came To Town – And Hog Roast Torre Was There To Present Our Tasty Grub

Saturday turned out to be a very exciting day for us! The carnival was in town for Christmas, and Hog Roast Torre had been asked along to serve our Southern Slow Roast Menu to the masses!

Anticipating a large turnout from members across the local community, the event organiser, Aaron, had reached out to us weeks before the festival went ahead to put a request in for one of our most popular menus, which has something on offer for punters of all ages and diets. This was ideal for Aaron, and before the day of the event had even arrived, he was left feeling impressed by our team’s professional attitude and the calm and collected manner in which they handled the booking process. This made him feel all the more confident in Hog Roast Torre ‘s ability to pull off the celebration – and he couldn’t have been more right to place his trust in us!

Hog Roast Torre When Saturday came, Hog Roast Torre was among the first to arrive at the venue, and after pitching our catering gazebo amidst all of the red and white candy-stripe tents and festive props, our team made a start on the meal. Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, BBQ pork butt and fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs were the sensational meat choices on offer that day, and for sides, the catering crew whipped up some of our legendary Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, corn cobettes, mac and cheese and Greek salad. They also prepared hickory-steeped pulled jackfruit sandwiches for the veggie/vegan guests.

The hours hastened by, and before anyone knew it, crowds of people, wide-eyed with anticipation and hunger, had begun to gather around the kiosk. As the noises of the carnival rides and lively shows sounded off in the background, Hog Roast Torre’s team quickly began filling the disposable plates with the flavoursome recipes that had already filled the entire space with salivating fragrances. Made fresh on-site in the hours leading up to the event’s starting time, the guests were in awe of how beautifully tender the meat was, which had many of them queuing for seconds.
