The Sun Was Shining For A Hog Roast Babbacombe Wedding

Many people like the cosy, intimate weddings. The weddings where you have the people closest to there, the people who you genuinely want there to help you celebrate rather than your mum’s second cousin that you haven’t spoken to in years but feel obliged to invite. The restrictions have probably favoured some so that they can use it as an excuse for a small wedding. Others have just had enough so have decided to go ahead with smaller numbers just so they can finally be wed.

The delightful Kit recently got married and wanted a small intimate gathering to celebrate. Kit decided that she needed some amazing food with friendly service and found none other than Hog Roast Babbacombe. Hog Roast Babbacombe has a range of delicious menu’s, Kit decided on the Southern Slow Roast. A one-of-a-kind flavour-filled menu that has something for everyone.

Thankfully, the sun was shining on Saturday creating an electric atmosphere with people loving the reunions, alcohol, and the fact that Kit was able to finally marry her soulmate.

Hog Roast BabbacombeHog Roast Babbacombe’s catering manager Rik and his team served a super delicious spread where the guests indulged in some flavour-filled and succulent meats, a fresh salad, and some crispy fries. Kit had decided on the beef brisket, marinated in a Texan-styled rub, pulled pork, marinated in a bourbon BBQ sauce and whole roasted chickens with a Cajun-spice dusting. All the meats were slowly roasted on low heat ensuring succulent and tender meat that just falls apart and melts in the mouth. The flavours are divine and attack the taste buds with a bundle of deliciousness. Kit was extremely pleased with the favour of the meats!

The fresh salad was hog Roast Babbacombe’s colourful Greek salad, the use of on-the-vine tomatoes provides strong flavour to the salad, alongside the cucumber, red onion, and pitted olives. The dreamy feta cheese gets crumbled within the layers of the salad with fresh cubes placed on top.

The medley of sweet potato and ordinary fries were a real hit with the guests. It’s an exceedingly nourish menu. The guests were very pleased with their lunch and Kit was happy that she had a small portion of each meat leftover for the following day so that she could experience to all over again.
