Hog Roast Babbacombe has taken our local market by storm at this month’s gathering. Town’s market has always attracted a wide range of revellers willing to brave the crowds to support local businesses, and this year organisers decided Hog Roast Babbacombe would be the perfect way to repay them.
As a company, we constantly strive to give our customers the best culinary experience; fresh food is our priority. The market organisers asked that we keep to the theme of the Market by sourcing our food from local suppliers, and so we did just that. We set up on the corner of the quaint high street, in between stalls selling everything from handmade soaps to bespoke jewellery, and quickly went about preparing a mouth-watering feast.
Here at Hog Roast Babbacombe, we provide for everyone; you don’t have to be a meat-eater to enjoy our delicious food! With our veggie kebabs with halloumi and tzatziki dips, stuffed peppers with mushrooms, and freshly prepared Greek salad, it’s no wonder we had huge queues of eager customers wanting a taste. As always, though, our delicious hog roasts were the clear winner of the day. The tender meat was prepped and seasoned by our chefs, cooked slowly on machines from our own range, and served in either a soft roll or wrap, with optional roast potatoes, crackling, and apple sauce. Just the smell of our products had bellies rumbling up and down the high street.
At one point, demand was so high that customers began to worry we might run our before they got a chance to sample our food, but here at Hog Roast Babbacombe we always anticipate lots of interest at these kinds of events. However, as a company, we aim to waste as little food as possible, and so always take steps to ensure we don’t over order. After the Orange Pip was over, we donated the left-over rolls and vegetables to a local food-bank.
We would like to thank the organisers for choosing us as caterers for the day. One of our chefs, Robert, had nothing but praise for the locals, saying “The whole day had such a great atmosphere. It never feels like work.”
